Championship Golf Course
Established in 1973, this mature tree-lined parkland course offers a different challenge from every tee whilst enjoying the stunning views over the surrounding Welsh countryside.
Unlike many inland courses, at Bryn Meadows no two holes are the same, a testament to the original course designers of Brian Mayo and inaugural Golf Professional Craig Defoy.
The emphasis is very much on accuracy and tactical course management rather than brute force, and the Bryn Meadows course lends itself particularly well to Mixed Groups, as well as providing an interesting challenge to golfers of all abilities and handicaps.
Lose yourself among the greens of Bryn Meadows and tee off into the beautiful Sirhowy Valley beyond. Mature tree lined fairways and panoramic views over the course and surrounding countryside offer peace and tranquillity, only occasionally disturbed by shouts of ‘fore’ from wayward tee shots (leave your driver in the boot …)
Bryn Meadows is a 6021 yard par 71 championship course. Although not the longest course it has a different challenge from every tee and green making it ‘accuracy to the fore’. The two signature holes at Bryn Meadows are the 13th, a 227 yard par 3 over water, and the 2nd, a fantastic par 5 measuring 557 yards with your 3rd shot over water and out of bounds to your right.
Bryn Meadows is a course enjoyed by low and high handicappers alike and with its excellent reputation on the course and in the bars and restaurant, it is a perfect venue for business or pleasure.
