For the second year running, Blas Restaurant has been shortlisted at the Food Awards Wales

For the second year running Blas Restaurant has been nominated and shortlisted for an award, alongside other top specialists, servers and suppliers in the food industry. 

Thousands of nominations came in from across Wales with members of the public voting for their favourites within the food and hospitality industry.  The prestigious award ceremony is being held on Tuesday 30th May 2017.

Blas Restaurant at Bryn Meadows Golf Hotel & Spa has been shortlisted in the Hotel Restaurant of the Year category, and we will find out if we have been crowned winners at the glitzy ceremony.  Last year the team were shortlisted for the Fine Dining Restaurant of the Year category. 

Blas in Welsh means taste, and the restaurant offers incredible views over the surrounding 5 valleys.  The team develop seasonal menus using the best of Welsh ingredients from local suppliers, to create modern dishes with a Welsh theme. The restaurant has gained an excellent reputation among residents and locals as the perfect setting for a family celebration or that intimate dinner for two.  Serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and an a-la-carte menu in the evening.  The team also offer outstanding Sunday Roasts.

The awards are based on a public vote, and commend the talented individuals and businesses who are dedicated to constantly delivering high quality dishes or produce.  The event aims to honour the venues and suppliers throughout the country whilst celebrating the very best of food in Wales.
