Fusion Spa at Bryn Meadows was named Overall Winner at The Welsh Hair & Beauty Awards 2017
On Sunday 21st May Fusion Spa at Bryn Meadows won the coveted ‘Spa of the Year’ award at the Welsh Hair & Beauty Awards
For the second year running, the team has been nominated and shortlisted for an award. However, this year the Fusion Spa team won the South Wales award beating last year’s winners Parc Spa at Stradey Park Hotel, Heywood Spa Hotel, Holland House in Cardiff and Laguna Spa at the Park Plaza in Cardiff.
The team also took the overall winner award, beating Nant Ddu Lodge who had won the Mid Wales region and Springs Spa in the North Wales region.
The 4th annual ceremony was held on Sunday 21st May at the Cardiff City Stadium and was a platform to acknowledge and honour the impeccable and tireless work of the best professionals and businesses in the Welsh hair and beauty industry. Thousands of nominations came in from across Wales with members of the public voting for their favourites.
In Fusion Spa the team use the finest collection of products from leading brands Elemis, Jessica Nails and Mii Make Up and offer a wide range of traditional and signature spa treatments. With 4 treatment rooms plus the Rasul Mud Room Ceremony, there is something for everyone. Guests can also take a dip in the warm waters of the indoor pool, immerse in the heated bubbles of the hydrospa and Jacuzzi or sit back and experience the thermal benefits of the sauna, steam and aromatherapy suites.
Andrew Phillips, Fusion Spa & Leisure Manager at Bryn Meadows Golf Hotel & Spa said, “What a night! It sounds clique but I was extremely proud of the team just being nominated, especially as our guests were the ones who had to do this. Winning the South Wales Region and then being the overall winner for Spa of the Year is fantastic. The team do work incredibly hard throughout the year, and it really is fantastic to have this recognised.”
