For the second year running we are the headline sponsor for the annual event. The Bryn Meadows Caerphilly 10k is being held on Sunday 20th May 2018, following the success of last year’s record breaking event.
The ever-popular course which attracts participants from far and wide, will lead runners in and around Caerphilly town centre, passing local landmarks including the iconic Tommy Cooper statue, as well as offering stunning views of Caerphilly Castle.
Cabinet Member Cllr Nigel George said, “We are delighted to welcome Bryn Meadows back as headline sponsors of this popular event for the second year running. It’s great to be working alongside a local family run business with similar aims to us; increasing health and wellbeing and attracting visitors to our area”.
Entry fees for the Bryn Meadows Caerphilly 10k this year are £20 for unaffiliated entries and £18 for concessions and affiliated runners. Entry to the Bryn Meadows Caerphilly 2k remains fixed at last year’s entry fee of £6.50. Participants for the 2k must be at least 8 years of age on the day of the event in order to participate.
