Get the most from your Gym Membership with Weekly Fitness Classes and Personal Training

There are so many ways to get more out of your gym membership, with many group exercise fitness classes to choose from.  Depending on your fitness goal, and your busy lifestyle, it can be quite difficult to choose one that will be most effective for you.  So we have broken down all of our weekly classes to make it easier to choose. 

There are classes for low impact, toning and fat burning – each with their own unique spin on fitness exercise goals.  The easiest way to find out which one you like the most is to simply try them!  Our personal trainers recommend classes as a way to get a variety of unique body movements and new training styles to use in your workout regime.  At the same time, they can highlight weaknesses in your body so you know where to improve. 

Classes are fun and a great way of meeting new people.  You should not feel shy or nervous about attending, everyone was the new person once.  There are always a mix of abilities, and other attendees will help you out with any unfamiliar routines.


Ab Sculpt and Ab Blast

Monday and Saturday at 9.15am - Medium Intensity

Training the abs and core requires training the back, arms, shoulders and lateral abs.  No muscle group works in isolation so in order to have that tight physique you need to work all of the supporting muscle groups in the upper body.   

Aqua Aerobics

Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10.15am - Low Intensity

You do not need to be a swimmer to take part.  Done mostly vertically, aqua aerobics is a type of resistance training.  It is low impact as the water helps take off some of the impact we tend to place on our water.  The combination of strength and cardio workouts mixed with water resistance ensure the body is getting a full workout. 

Body Pump

Thursday at 9.15am - Medium to High Intensity

Body Pump is a class that shapes, tones and strengthens your entire body.  The addictive workout challenges all of your major muscle groups by using the weight room exercises such as squats, presses, lifts and curls.  This will help you achieve strength and introduce lean body muscle conditioning. 


Tuesday and Thursday at 6.45am, Wednesday at 6pm and 7pm, Saturday at 5pm - Medium to High Intensity

One of our most popular classes involves doing multiple workouts with limited to no time between sets.  These are held outdoors in good weather and can consist of a mixture of exercises including tyre flipping, battle ropes and some circuit training.


Thursday at 6pm and 7pm, Friday at 9.15am - Medium to High Intensity

A cardiovascular workout based on training used for boxing.  It could include skipping, boxing drills for footwork and abdominal workouts, all focused around fitness and toning. 

Circuits and Power Circuits

Monday at 6pm and 7pm, Wednesday 9.15am - Medium to High Intensity 

Circuit training involves doing medium to high intensity routines, with limited to no rest time between the sets.  The exercise stations are done one after the other and there can be a number of combinations. 


Tuesday at 6pm and 7pm - Medium to High Intensity

A kettlebell is a weight resembling a cannonball with a handle used to strengthen and tone the whole body.  Swing, lunge and squat your way to a more toned body whilst improving your strength, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance.  

Legs, Bums and Tums

Tuesday at 9.15am, Sunday at 5pm - Medium Intensity  

Tone your thighs, tighten your bum and firm those abs in the ultimate lower body workout.  Target those stubborn areas using high repetition sequence moves combining aerobic exercise and toning. 

Pure Cardio HIIT

Friday at 6pm, Sunday 9.15am - High Intensity

The class is designed for high intensity interval training (HIIT) to take your fitness, muscle strength, fat loss and maximum calorie burn to the next level.  HIIT is an exercise strategy that alternates periods of short intensity anaerobic exercise and less intense recovery periods. 


Looking for an alternative workout.  Our all day Bootcamp! Experience is designed for groups of 10 or more, and have been used by brides and hens getting in shape for the big day, additional training for those taking part in a competitive event, or businesses for an alternative staff team builder.  Taking place on our bootcamp field, the morning is spent doing various fitness classes followed by a healthy lunch and fresh fruit smoothies in Blas Restaurant.  The afternoon starts with an aqua aerobics session in the pool.  After this you can use the leisure facilities to unwind including the sauna, hydro pool and jacuzzi.
